ABOUT ME
As a qualified and registered Professional Accountant (SA) and Tax Practitioner, I’ve defied stereotypes and shattered glass ceilings despite being Deaf. My journey is a testament to determination, passion, and hard work.
My academic and professional journey began at the V.N Naik School For The Deaf, where I completed my studies in 2008. I then went on to pursue my tertiary education at the Durban University of Technology, graduating in 2013. My professional experience includes stints at Guarantee Trust Corporate Support Services, SAIPA, and Olive Business Solutions, where I gained invaluable experience in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, tax consulting, payroll, and CIPC.
In addition to my professional experience, I’ve also developed customizable Accounting Templates in Excel for various industries, and have completed training programs in Sage Business Cloud Accountants Edition, Sage Payroll and Sage Evolution at Transport and Logistics.
While working full-time, I successfully established and grew Agape Professional Accountants as a part-time venture. With a solid foundation in place, I’m now dedicating myself full-time to driving the company’s continued growth and success.
Remember, being Deaf is not a reflection of one’s intelligence or potential. It simply means being unable to hear.
